We’re Halfway Through 2024 – How Are You Doing?

With the July 4th holiday weekend approaching this Thursday, AIP Marketing Alliance’s team wants to take a moment and “check in” with our valued independent wholesalers, agencies, and agents to see how 2024 has treated you this year.

AIPMA’s MORE in ’24 campaign continues to resonate with most of you as our staff has noticed an uptick in requests for some of AIPMA’s 2024 technology launches. The popular requests consist of Business Builder, Dynamic Quoting tool, and the Integrity™ LeadCENTER/LifeCENTER platform. Let’s rehash why these platforms have grown in interest.

  • Business Builder: Through an Integrity partner, this platform provides agents with two main resources – the FireLight annuity e-application and Accelerate on-demand video training. FireLight makes the application process efficient by reducing errors and simplifying the annuity e-app process. Accelerate has beginner, novice, and expert video courses covering common topics for selling annuities and life insurance.
  • Dynamic Quote Tool: This Techficient portal changes the term life insurance quote process by leveraging AI and carrier underwriting trends to generate quotes focused on the customer’s best interest. At this time, Dynamic Quoting features multiple insurance carriers to provide multiple options based on your customer’s health and lifestyle.
  • LeadCENTER/LifeCENTER: Integrity continues to build its CRM platform combining real-time life insurance, final expense, and Medicare leads through LeadCENTER. For Medicare or final expense leads, agents can also build a consumer-facing website with quoting capabilities through PlanEnroll as a part of LifeCENTER. For those agencies/agents preparing for Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) in October, Integrity also has MedicareCENTER as a compliant, easy-to-use system which includes call recording, policy management, and integrated quoting and enrollment.

Another theme AIP Marketing Alliance has promoted throughout 2024 involves helping your clients protect themselves and their loved ones through multiple insurance product options.

  • Annuities stand forefront right now due to insurance carriers’ rates for MYGAs hovering around 5% for three- and five-year products, according to Wink’s AnnuitySpecs weekly reports. Based on your client’s retirement strategy, Fixed Indexed Annuities (FIAs) also could provide more guaranteed accumulation with less risk depending on the selected participation rate, caps, and product.
  • Life Insurance also has evolved to client needs as insurance carriers have adapted their processes and products. Some life insurance products leverage accelerated underwriting to simplify the application process, making it easier and more efficient – and some products have eliminated the need for medical exams. Another factor involves the escalating costs of long-term care (LTC) as some carriers also have created hybrid life/LTC products or utilize optional accelerated death benefits or riders (chronic, critical illness, terminal) to use the “living benefits” of life insurance.
  • Final Expense Insurance provides an option for clients and prospects who may not qualify for term or permanent life insurance due to their health or lifestyle choices. Final expense typically does not require a medical exam, and most policies have up to $25,000 in coverage. Final expense could be used to cover medical bills, burial costs, and unpaid debt among other expenses.
