Agency Styles

AIP Marketing Alliance doesn’t have cookie cutter programs for Agencies. Most Agencies start their AIPMA relationship through a couple of conversations. Why? At AIPMA, we like to offer Agencies flexible support options that best meet their business needs. Therefore, our team wants to know how our resources best align with your sales strategy and goals.

We can connect you with the carriers, products and resources to support your downline agents. In turn, you also want to select the membership style that will determine how much support you want from AIPMA (case management, business development, etc.) and your corresponding commission levels.

What Works Best for You?

While the following descriptions provide a basic overview of AIPMA’s service levels, you can build a specialized program to best maximize AIPMA’s support and commissions.


STYLE-1

Wholesale distributors looking for minimal service assistance

AIPMA’s Style-1 members enjoy more of a “background” approach to our services. Style-1 is reserved for those Agencies who already have a staff and the expertise in place to run a full-scale FMO/IMO/BGA – but need AIPMA’s assistance accessing certain product lines, top-rated carriers and/or require a CRM system to track their business.

At Style-1, AIPMA simply operates in the background by providing you and your staff with any additional support you deem necessary. Our team will not contact, market to or communicate with your downline agents. In turn, you provide back-office support to your agents, answer their questions and you can even handle case management tasks if you choose.

Style-1 Agencies also enjoy our highest compensation levels. The Style-1 business model requires you and your staff to do most of the back-end work.


STYLE-2

Wholesale distributors looking for full-scale service options

Style-2 agencies enjoy a much more ‘hands-on’ approach and have a full-range of our services at their disposal. Their downline agents have full access to the entire AIPMA staff as we operate as your back office to help you support your agents marketing activities.

What does Style-2 do for you? AIPMA provides online contracting, full case management support, business development and marketing support, a personalized agency portal powered by our myAIP CRM platform, and access to online quote tools, calculators and resources.

Style-2 members leverage our professional, experienced staff for generating illustrations, comparing products, answer questions, following-up on online contracting, and assisting throughout the application process.


HYBRID LEVEL

Personalized Membership Package

Do you need features from both of AIPMA’s membership options based on your product lines and sales strategy? With more than 60 carriers and multiple product lines, AIPMA understands how our services can balance out your specific needs. A “hybrid” level member can structure their membership to utilize both styles based on carrier and product lines.

If you feel self-sufficient with a specific carrier or a product line, and need very little assistance from AIPMA, then you can select a Style-1 relationship when utilizing these carriers. If the carrier is new to you, or your use of that carrier is infrequent, the result being that you may not be up to date on their forms and procedures, then a Style-2 relationship, and AIPMA’s processing support, may be the logical choice.

For example, your agency feels comfortable and manages life insurance without any outside assistance. With the competitive market, you decide to add a new product line (annuities, Medicare supplements, etc.) that you may not feel comfortable with the upfront training, product launch, carrier updates, and administrative functions. In these situations, you can choose Level 1 for your life insurance business and operate as a Style-2 member for annuity production.

This hybrid membership allows AIPMA staff to promote the annuity products concepts – approved by you – to your downline and refer all life related business and questions back to your office. We will adhere to how you want our AIPMA team involved with your agency and not contact your agents about products handled by your office(s).


AIP REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Wholesale distributors looking for a place to call home

Want the support of a nationwide wholesaler with access to carriers and products to grow your business? Enjoy the benefits of being independent and managing your business model?

AIP Regional Directors operate are independent Agencies that are 100% committed to AIP Marketing Alliance in their specific regions and are responsible for recruiting and training agents to become part of their downline. Regional Directors carry the ‘brand name’ of AIP with access to the same back office support of AIPMA’s fully-trained staff and national offering of carriers behind them.

AIPMA assists its Regional Directors with recruiting events, sales ideas, marketing strategies and case management. The AIPMA Home Office team takes care of the back-office support required to grow a Regional Director’s business without most of the administrative tasks. We currently have AIP Regional Directors throughout the United States and AIPMA currently is looking to add motivated Regional Directors to our team.


RETAIL AGENTS

Are you a motivated, independent agent looking to take the next steps in your business career? AIPMA becomes your resource to learn and grow from our experienced team. When you align as a retail Agent with AIPMA, you receive a dedicated Business Development Representative and Regional Director designed to support your efforts.

These experienced professionals serve as your mentors to provide training, carriers, support and tools to help you learn about life insurance, annuities, Medicare supplements, long-term care, and final expense insurance products. You’ll also gain access to myAIP and our portals to provide online access to quote tools, forms and other useful materials.
