Taking a Moment to Appreciate AIPMA’s Employees
On Friday, March 4th, AIP Marketing Alliance took time to recognize the hard work of our team by celebrating National Employee Appreciation Day virtually as we slowly start progress toward a hybrid work model in 2022. National Employee Appreciation Day happens on the first Friday in March each year and focuses attention on employees in all industries. Employers across the country in business and organizations plan employee recognition and celebrations.
In the past, AIPMA has hosted a number of events to celebrate Employee Appreciation Day. One of AIPMA’s favorite in-person events involved the management team creating customized smoothies for each employee a few years back. Employees chose from a menu of items, and our managers not only made them to order, but Rick Kisser delivered the delectable dishes to each employee’s desk or office. Another year, the AIPMA kitchen was transformed into “Rick’s Panini Grill and Café” for the lunch hour with the grills manned by our CEO, Rick Kisser, and the executive team. The staff was treated to a delicious, made-to-order panini feast!
When the COVID-19 pandemic started in 2020, AIPMA’s management team had to be a bit more creative with ideas since we leveraged online meeting platforms to celebrate National Employee Appreciation Day and employees received Visa gift cards.
In 2022, AIPMA closed early to celebrate Employee Appreciation Day with an interactive Spin-to-Win online event with our team. Employees had a chance to spin a virtual wheel with a chance to win gift cards ($25, $50, $100), a $100 donation to a favorite charity, half and full day of PTO, and even a Summer Sizzler spot allowing employees to leave an hour earlier on Fridays throughout the month of July or August!
“I feel lucky to have such a great team supporting AIPMA. It’s the employees who helped our business survive and prosper despite the challenges created by the pandemic,” CEO Rick Kisser said. “Most of our team members have been a part of our success for over five years, and I know it is the contribution from every employee that has supported the growth of AIP Marketing Alliance over the last 40 years in business.”
Employees also will benefit from the recent strategic partnership with Integrity Marketing Group as each AIPMA staff member is a part of Integrity’s Employee Ownership Program.
