The employees at AIP Marketing Alliance enjoy giving back to our local community through our Casual for a Cause fundraising program. Team members donate $5 monthly for the privilege of “casual Friday” attire, and AIPMA matches the total amount donated. Employees submit the names of their favorite causes, and with a spin of our “charity wheel,” selections are made.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic delayed our usual quarterly selection, we recently played catch-up and chose causes for all four quarters of 2020. And as a bonus, the AIPMA team can dress casually every day for the remainder of the year!

Here are the four organizations that will benefit from our efforts this year:

• A Mother’s Wish – Embracing families affected by breast cancer (suggested by Emmy Giampa)
• Forgotten Harvest – Fighting hunger and food insecurity in Metro Detroit (suggested by Dave Howe)
• Brian Miller Full Moon – Helping those struggling with addiction get into treatment (suggested by Nanci Murphy)
• Capuchin Soup Kitchen – Providing food, clothing, and human development programs to the people of Detroit (suggested by Maggie Flood)

Since the inception of the Casual for a Cause program, AIPMA and its team have donated to over 30 worthwhile organizations making a real difference in the Metro Detroit area.
