It’s that time of year again! May 22nd is Red Nose Day and the AIPMA team is putting their red noses on to help raise awareness for the worthy cause of ending childhood poverty. Red Nose Day is also one of our past Casual for a Cause donation recipients, selected in December 2022.

The theme for this year’s campaign is “Less Childhood Poverty, More Childhood.” According to the Comic Relief/Red Nose Day website, a million more kids are facing poverty in the U.S. this year. That’s a million more kids with less of what they need to thrive.

Poverty uniquely impacts children. It can affect their physical and social-emotional health and stand in the way of their education. It also can be a barrier to opportunities – keeping kids from becoming their best selves. The Comic Relief/Red Nose Day charity believes every child should have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Recently, their sold-out Stand-Up for LA comedy show raised funds to support the children and families of Los Angeles in the wake of the January 2025 wildfires. Their partners helped to meet immediate needs as well as laid the groundwork for long-term recovery including mental health support to cope with the lasting impact of the fires.
