How Annuity Leads Generate $7 Million Annually for a Top Producing Agent

AIP Marketing Allliance CEO Rick Kisser recently sat down with top producer and AIPMA Regional Director Keith Hazelwood to discuss how purchasing qualified internet leads has generated more than $7 million in annuity sales.

“I used to do seminars for years, but I’ve switched to internet leads since 2012,” Keith said. “By building a pipeline of prospects, I generate sales within 60 days, plus nurture prospects to choose me when they are ready to purchase an annuity.”

He added seminars are a lot of work to coordinate the venue, meals, invitations and presentation process. Buying leads provides interested buyers and a pipeline of opportunities.

“The most important part is the initial call with the prospect as your goal is to get a face-to- face appointment,” he said. “If not, you still need to market to your purchased leads to be successful.

“Agents also need the proper training or they will fail with this system.”

As someone active in the field, Keith currently is mentoring agents on using his proven system leveraging qualified internet leads for selling annuities.
