Medicare Supplement Trends
More than 11,200 Americans turn age 65 every day creating an estimated 4.1 million households that are potential clients for Medicare supplement plans.
With deductibles and co-insurance, Medicare pays about 20% of the cost of an individual’s cost of healthcare. Maybe that is why only one person in 10 relies on Medicare alone for health coverage.

Medicare Supplements Statistics

- Only 2% of enrollees with Medicare Supplement coverage reported having difficulty paying medical bills in the last 12 months, compared to 6% of FFS Medicare enrollees without Medicare Supplement coverage.
