The employees at AIP Marketing Alliance enjoy giving back to our local community through our Casual for a Cause fundraising program. Team members donate $5 monthly for the privilege of casual attire, and AIPMA matches the total amount donated. As an extra bonus this time around, Rick Kisser also matched the employee contributions, boosting our 2021 total contributions to $2,800!

Since the COVID-19 pandemic and AIPMA’s work-from-home hybrid schedule delayed our usual quarterly selection, we recently played catch-up and chose causes for all four quarters of 2021. Employees submitted the names of their favorite causes, and with a spin of our “charity wheel,” the selections were made.

Here are the four organizations that will benefit from our efforts this year:

• Angels of Hope – Providing critical support to Michigan families directly impacted by cancer (suggested by Emmy Giampa)
• Detroit Dog Rescue – Focused on raising awareness for the plight of the forgotten, homeless, and stray dogs of Detroit, along with advocating for humane rescue alternatives (suggested by Kym Kisser)
• Gleaners – Providing households with access to sufficient, nutritious food and related resources in southeast Michigan (suggested by Dave Howe)
• Life Remodeled – Brings communities and organizations together to help revitalize Detroit neighborhoods in an equitable and sustainable way (suggested by Rhonda Schreck)

Since the inception of the Casual for a Cause program, AIPMA and its team have donated to over 30 worthwhile organizations making a real difference in the Metro Detroit area.
