For more than 44 years, AIP Marketing Alliance has implemented a lot of traditions into our internal events to build culture, share some smiles and camaraderie, and satisfy our team’s appetites. Panini Day on August 11th is one of those summertime events where the menu is stacked with deliciousness and our team orders early to devour some sammies!

The AIPMA Executive Team turns the building’s kitchen into the latest Food Network show as they brandish multiple panini presses with an assortment of ingredients to create personalized sandwiches that are hand-delivered to their desks and offices.

Just to give you an idea about how AIPMA’s team goes “all out” for Panini Day, here’s a list of the options each employee had to choose from for their specific sandwich: breads (French, sourdough, Italian); meats (turkey, chicken, ham, salami); cheeses (mozzarella, provolone, cheddar, jalapeno jack); toppings (tomatoes, lettuce, pickles); and condiments (mayonnaise, mustard, butter).

“It’s something we like to do to give back to our staff as they are the reason for our success for so many years,” said President Rick Kisser. “Panini Day was well-received by our team in the past, and being able to show some culinary skills and satisfy our hungry team made this a staple in the AIPMA schedule.”

As a bonus, AIP Marketing Alliance had some celebrity chefs visit our office as North American’s Steve Zimmerman (Regional Vice President) and Matt Erpelding (Advanced Markets Case Design Consultant) helped deliver the paninis to the team throughout the office. They also shared some life insurance sales ideas to pass on to AIPMA’s valued wholesalers and agents.

“The timing worked out well as we enjoy when Steve stops into our office as he’s been a fixture for our team at North American for life insurance cases, and learning about potential opportunities in advanced case design might open a few more sales concepts that we may not have thought about in the past,” Kisser said.
