STRIVE in ’25 – Introducing Social Media Calendars, IUL Portal for the New Year!
This year, AIP Marketing Alliance’s valued independent insurance wholesalers and agents asked our team to deliver MORE in ’24… and we delivered by sharing the “Integrity effect” through LeadCENTER, LifeCENTER, MedicareCENTER, and many other technology platforms to make selling life insurance and annuities more efficient.
AIPMA also doubled down by adding Dynamic quoting for “intelligent” term life insurance quotes, Business Builder for Firelight e-apps and Accelerate on-demand video training, and PlanEnroll consumer-facing website for selling Medicare products and final expense insurance.
Being in the Metro Detroit area, you can say “The Bar is High” (Marty Mornhinweg Detroit Lions joke from 2016), but like our local NFL team, AIPMA understands how “It Takes More” every year to continue the success for our downline insurance wholesalers, agencies, and agents.
That’s why AIP Marketing Alliance, an Integrity Company, wants insurance agents to STRIVE in ’25 when selling annuities, life insurance, long-term care insurance, final expense insurance, disability insurance, and even provide Integrity resources for the Medicare Annual Election Period in 2025.
We’re kicking off the new year by implementing a new resource to assist wholesalers and agents – a monthly social media calendar with compliant content and graphics. Most agents are looking to post on social media, but sometimes have concerns about what to post due to compliance and regulations.
“I often get asked about social media posts and content, because you have to be careful how you position annuities and life insurance on these platforms,” said Darron Markwood, Vice President of Marketing and Compliance Officer. “Those discussions made us consider how our marketing efforts can guide and assist their social media needs.”
Each month, AIPMA will distribute the social media calendar with two sets of posts – one tailored toward consumers and one tailored toward independent insurance agents. Each set has five posts and corresponding graphics ranging on a variety of topics about annuities, life insurance, indexed universal life insurance (IUL), and other marketing ideas. The agent posts also will focus on recruitment, customer retention, and other resources.
“Like email marketing, texts, and old school phone calls, social media provides a way to keep in touch with current clients, potentially add new prospects, and even recruit agents nationwide,” Markwood added. “While five posts doesn’t seem like a lot, it’s at least one post per week that you can use to communicate online. These posts will need to stick to the provided verbiage and graphic as that content is compliance approved.”
Another STRIVE in ’25 initiative for Q1 will involve the launch of a dedicated IUL page on AIPMA’s Agent Tools section of our website as well as including this resource on our wholesalers’ recruiter portals (if requested). The IUL page will focus on positioning this product with clients/prospects, provide multiple carriers/product information, ability to download our IUL in a Box whitepapers, videos, and much more agent-approved content.
“Our recruiter portals have become a secure, one-stop resource website to help agents sell products, get contracted, compare products, get on-demand training, and leverage some of the top insurance tools in the business,” Markwood said. “IUL is gaining a lot of momentum as we close out 2024, and AIPMA believes that trend will continue throughout the new year as we’ve noticed how carriers are positioning their IUL products to fit the current demand in the market.”
