In celebration of Mother’s Day, the AIP Marketing Alliance team has put together some stories, memories, photos, and a video to honor all that Mom means!

Here are a few personal Mother’s Day messages of appreciation from the AIPMA team:

• “I think my favorite story about my Mom happened just after Mother’s Day back in 1999. My parents were up at their cabin in Hale, Michigan, on vacation, and my wife, Suzanne, and I just found out we were going to have our first baby. We called them up there, and she was so happy to hear that she was going to be a grandmother. I believe my Dad and her even planted a tree in a special spot to remember that call. Since our first baby was born, my Mom continues to make Christmas Eve presents and Easter basket hunts very special events for both of my sons (Brendan and Trevor), including making her delicious birthday cookies for each of us on our special days.” - Darron Markwood
• “There were 1,200 or so people in the town. One result was that the number of children in each school class was few in number. One of our English teachers was my mother; an experience I did not enjoy. When I got older, I realized that she did not enjoy the experience either. From primary through high school and beyond, most of us stayed friends.
  One day, while sitting in a golf cart, waiting for our tee time, my friend said, “You know, your mother was the first person that thought I could amount to something. Not even my parents thought I would amount to much.” Today, it is easy to know that he amounted to more than most when you know of the lasting benefits he provided to the town, the people, and the organizations that gained from his significant skills.
  As time has gone by, more than a few times I have heard, “Your mother changed my life by believing in me.” How many of us were set on a path of achievement during the nearly 50 years that Mom taught school? Since many of our class is no longer here, it is impossible to know.” - AIPMA Employee
• “Mother’s Day always reminds me of lilacs. My Mom loves them! When we were young, my sister, brother, and I would go out in the backyard each spring to collect them and make a bouquet gift for Mom. The scent of the flowers would fill the house. That smell still brings back fond memories of my childhood.” - Colleen Bartoletti
