As part of the Strategic Education Technologies™ (SET) recent conference, AIP Marketing Alliance joined forces with their downline neighbor agency and Foresters Financial™ to assist at the Troy Boys & Girls Club last month as part of the Delivering the Difference program. SET and AIPMA reside in the same building and have partnered on multiple occasions to assist the local community with support from Foresters.

About 20 participants helped by building garden benches, creating garden beds with planting soil, laying mulch around the beds, and planting some tomatoes and other plants to beautify that section of the Boys & Girls Club in Troy. The club is located a few miles down the street from the AIPMA building.

Tony Morrison of Foresters, Tim Austin of SET, and Rick Kisser of AIPMA took a quick break to explain how combining our efforts in the local community truly makes a difference. In 2018, SET, AIPMA, Foresters and KaBOOM! worked together to build a giant playground in one day on Detroit’s west side near Telegraph and 7 Mile roads. Local Detroit TV station Fox 2 covered the event.

Foresters also has sponsored efforts during AIPMA’s Member in Motion Conference to help donate backpacks to local schools and donate care kits to local women’s shelters in Macomb and Oakland counties. Last year, AIPMA and Foresters team members assembled and donated 150 support kits to HAVEN of Oakland County, MI, which helps domestic violence and sexual assault victims.

“Foresters has been a fantastic carrier for us for a long time,” AIPMA President Rick Kisser said. “It’s events like this that truly make the difference. We appreciate the Delivering a Difference program as it helps AIPMA, SET, and Foresters support a lot of charities and organizations in our local Michigan area.”

The Boys & Girls Club event was part of Foresters Delivering the Difference program. This program is designed to help Foresters share their purpose driven culture and help their distribution groups make a positive impact in local community through volunteering events.
