Since 2013, AIP Marketing Alliance has made the holidays a bit more special by helping Make-A-Wish® Michigan grant wishes for local children in lieu of appreciation gifts to our members and carrier partners. With the COVID-19 environment affecting everyone right now, AIPMA still wanted to make a wish come true as charities still need support during these trying times.

AIPMA selected Kennett, age 4 from South Lyon, as this year’s gift recipient. Kennett, who has a genetic disorder, wished for an accessible pirate ship playset structure for his home. He loves chocolate pudding, playing outside, the movie Lion King and his favorite color is yellow.

“Granting a wish during the holidays makes all of us feel warm and special to be able to share in the happiness for the Make-A-Wish children,” Controller Kymberly Kisser said. “When we see the smiles from the children and their families, it infuses our team with holiday spirit even during these challenging times. We really hope Kennett enjoys his new playset!”

AIPMA has granted many wishes during the last seven years including shopping sprees, a trip to Hawaii, a couple of trips to Walt Disney World® Resort, and one trip to the San Diego Zoo. All of the selected children are located within Michigan.

Michigan wish kids need hope now more than ever, and we continue to grant wishes during this time with the help of corporate friends like AIPMA. Make-A-Wish Michigan has granted more than 10,000 wishes locally with more than 850 Michigan children waiting for a wish. Every 20 minutes, a child is diagnosed with a critical illness.
