August’s National Golf Month celebrates this cherished sport and invites individuals of all ages and skill levels to experience the excitement of golf.

Chevelle and Layla, daughters of AIP Marketing Alliance team members Lynelle Peasall-Gauld and Kym Kisser, enjoyed learning to play golf this summer at a camp hosted by NubAbility® Athletics in Du Quoin, Illinois. This organization offers camps that are game-changing for limb different children like Chevelle, and Layla loves to join the fun in support of her cousin. Of the 19 sports offered, the girls chose golf as their focus sport this year.

Since 2011, the NubAbility Athletics Foundation has been encouraging, inspiring, and instructing limb different youth by getting them out of the stands, off the bench, and into mainstream sports. Limb different coaches teach all the sports… imagine the power of having a mentor who looks like you!

“It truly is a wonderful camp and experience for these kids. One, they get to see other people like them, and two, they get to see that they can be successful in sports, too,” said Lynelle Peasall-Gauld, Case Management Administrator.

“I have seen such growth in Chevelle’s confidence during the last four years she has attended. She has learned she can do anything she puts her mind to. It may look a little different, but Chevelle can always figure out a way to get it done,” she added. “It is a sports camp, but with the confidence she learns there, she is able to apply it to all aspects of her life. We love the organization and will definitely continue to attend every year!”

“Layla has joined her cousin Chevelle for the last two years at NubAbility camp. Chevelle appreciates having her cousin’s support, and they both have so much fun!” added Kym Kisser, Chief Financial Officer.
