With the resurgence of COVID-19 through the Delta and Omicron variants, AIP Marketing Alliance wants to remind all of our independent insurance wholesalers and agents about the resources available to keep you informed about the pandemic’s impact on our industry.

AIPMA recently updated the COVID-19 Resources page with carrier links to help you process business efficiently for your valued clients. These links can direct you to some of AIPMA’s top carriers and their underwriting and business practices during the pandemic, ExamOne services, and “how-to” videos on using online meetings for clients who do not feel safe meeting in person.

This page also has links to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website, including: COVID-19 resources; United States COVID-19 cases, deaths, and laboratory testing (NAATs) by state, territory, and jurisdiction; Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs); and current travel requirements and restrictions.

As for AIP Marketing Alliance, our team continues to follow state guidelines to keep our employees safe during these challenging times. For almost two years, AIPMA has leveraged our technology and experience to maintain business as usual for our member agencies and agents.

One staff recommendation involves leveraging technology in 2022 by using the AIPMA website’s Agent Tools or recruiter portals for online contracting, e-Apps, and other business processes. AIPMA also is contracted with multiple carriers who have accelerated underwriting to improve the turnaround time with application processing.

Based on our 2021 agent survey, AIPMA has delivered and maintained High to Above Average quality service levels through our Case Management, Business Development, Marketing, and Data Management staff. Our management team will continue to review service levels, maintain communication, and adapt to COVID-19’s effect on our business.
