Extending the Holiday through Make-A-Wish Michigan
This week, Make-A-Wish Michigan stopped by the AIP Marketing Alliance office to thank us for supporting their efforts in granting wishes for a few local children.
Rae Anne Yuskowatz dropped off a few new plaques to add to our Casual for a Cause wall in the office to recognize our latest Make-A-Wish fulfilled dreams.
- Colin, age 14 from Shelby Township, diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma, who wished to have a shopping spree. Colin’s wish was granted in the fall of 2019. He loves the Avengers’ movies, baseball, and gaming. His favorite color is green.
- Avery, age 9 from Royal Oak, diagnosed with a genetic disorder who wished to go to Disney World. Avery’s wish was received in the winter of 2018. She loves Peppa Pig, her toy piano, and reading. Her favorite color is pink.
In lieu of holiday gifts, AIPMA donates funds each year toward fulfilling these wishes for Michigan children. Early in 2019, our employees also personally sent off Lucas from the airport to fulfill his wish to visit Hawaii. Our team created some fun signs and met him and his family at the airport.
CEO Rick Kisser also talked about AIPMA’s commitment to Make-A-Wish during a video filmed early last year.
