AIPMA Launches New Life Insurance Policy Review Materials
How often do you communicate with your clients about their life insurance policy? With the changing ways of the world, and your valued clients, you may want to institute an annual conversation to discuss their current life insurance policy and whether the coverage fits their needs.
An expected or unexpected life event can dictate a Life Insurance Policy Review (LIPR) based on the change in their lifestyle. Some examples could include getting married, getting divorced, buying a house, having or adopting a baby, accepting a new job, taking out a mortgage or other loan, refinancing your home, or even paying off your mortgage.
AIP Marketing Alliance has discussed the LIPR with wholesalers and agents as a way not only to stay engaged with clients, but the life insurance policy review also provides you and your clients a thorough assessment of their selected coverage. Some clients may not need a change to their life insurance, but some may decide to add coverage or change their policy (i.e., term life insurance to permanent life insurance, hybrid long-term care life insurance, etc.).
Now, AIPMA is proud to launch our new website, timeforareview.com, as a resource for independent life insurance wholesalers and agents. This agent-focused website explains the LIPR benefits, gives a testimonial on how important the LIPR is for agents, and even offers some ways to start those life insurance policy review conversations.
To complement the LIPR website, AIPMA also has launched support materials through three brand new sales and marketing kits/whitepapers, life insurance policy review social media graphics, and two new videos – one customer-focused and one agent-focused.
The kits/whitepapers are a three-part series focusing on Why to Conduct a Life Insurance Policy Review, How to Conduct a Life Insurance Policy Review, and How to Market and Promote Life Insurance Policy Reviews. The market and promote kit/whitepaper focuses on using social media and email marketing platforms, including resources and pricing.
